Very cool insight last night, Lord. Are we really such blobs of radiation? Of the things we are aware that possibly emanate from us: sound waves audible to our ears (us talking, burping, walking, laughing, etc), sound waves inaudible (organs working, blood pumping, etc), vibrations of our very cells, an electromagnetic field, smells our noses decipher, smells we're not aware of (pheromones, etc), sights we see (physical appearance), sights we don't (aura?, the "seal" of the Holy Spirit over believers, the spiritual host of demons and angels surrounding us and sometimes inhabiting or inhibiting people)... What must You see when You see us from Your unfiltered perspective?!? I can't even imagine seeing things the way they really are! Wow! I can't even fathom the "glory" of those things surrounding You or Your Son! What a trip John must've had to the heavenlies!

How small we are in our senses. People who are "sensual" are probably just responding to the utter numbness that is our current state of living. We instinctively know that there's more to offer than what we currently can lay hold of. A million times more pleasure, goodness, knowledge, adventure... We are veiled. Besides the things surrounding our selves, we are influenced by the phases of the moon, sun radiation, chemicals vibrations etc radiating from other people, and probably a thousand other things I couldn't begin to list. I mean - how in the world do women who work in the same office begin to menstruate at the same time - which unseen influence is at work there?!? Beyond that, I'm sure there is some sort of physical change when our spiritual and/or emotional state changes. I know for sure that people can immediately turn us off or on according to their "chemistry" with us - what that "chemistry" actually consists of is impossible to know for sure, but the possibilities are fascinating. Do our souls call out in some invisible cry when we are in pain or lonely or sinning? Do we attract and repel people with some crazy magnet-type force? Do our bodies create a symphony of harmonizing sounds when we are with a group of people we love? Do You give us different vibrations when You make us, change our vibrations when we receive the Spirit or give us different Spiritual Gifts? How many angels are there to each person? Could we expect 1 to defend believers at all times, or are there 1 per 5 people, or maybe there's 5 per person when the going gets really tough? What's the percentage of demons to angels? Would our tactics change spiritually if we knew whether there were demons oppressing us during any particular spiritual battle we face? Are people who are saved brighter with Your light? Do our various personalities (choleric, melancholy, introvert, extrovert, etc) give off different colors? When we are diseased physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually - do we smell rotten? So many questions! In so many ways, we are trapped in shells like turtles or insects - protected from the onslaught of a world that would totally blow our minds, but burdened and restrained by it. We were not meant to live this way forever.

Praise You, Lord. You are amazingly creative beyond our wildest dreams. What a Heaven awaits us! Take us, soon, Lord!!! But yet, there are so many unsaved. I feel like I have 1 foot in Heaven and 1 on earth. 2 different longings. Lord, this class that's coming up. Help me see what You would have me/us to do. Prolong another pregnancy if Your plan is to send me somewhere. Reshape our priorities and focus, wants and needs, make the pennies last longer, create in us a passion for Your Plan. Thank You for Your amazing provision and protection. Thank You for Your limitless love and grace and power. That we get to work with You at all is the most amazing privilege! How I should be humbled by that reality every day. You're awesome, God. I sure do love You :).
