I'm thinking about a lot of things, Lord, so I will lay them at Your feet and hopefully make them stay there :). Show me how to love Amanda. I want to give up stressing about Genevieve's new room assignment. I want to trust You to take care of the timing of everything this morning. I want to submit to whatever pregnancy symptoms You have for me. I want to live in the moment of this pregnancy rather than always wondering whether I will carry this baby or not... I'm not upset about the possibility of miscarriage or another ectopic, but I'm having a hard time not knowing one way or the other. I want to submit to you Michael's day - all the stresses and demands it will make on him - and pray that You will give him peace, wisdom, and discernment. Partly so that he continues to be respected in his job, and partly so that he accomplishes what needs to happen with the execs, but mostly so that Your glory shines!

Now, Lord, we can get to You. And Your business. What would You like me to do today? What are YOU busy with? How can I join Your plans? Can You show me Your heart so that I can run with the vision You have for the environment affected by my life? Work Your Word into me through and through so that You are reflected in everything I do, so that Your Name will be praised! Almost every one of those statements has the word "I" in it, but that's because it's OUR relationship. I know You don't just go around doing Your work by Yourself, but You enlist those who love You to be helpers (by Your power)...

But then there's always the part of our relationship that IS totally about YOU. And I so thank You for that, Lord! You are so forgiving, so merciful, so mighty! Your plans and purposes and timing is perfect! Your Words are beautiful, life-giving, living songs of joy! What a father! What a Prince! What a King! Just catching a glimpse of Your magnificence dumbfounds me! I am so grateful for all that You are and all that You do - whether I know it yet or not!
