The Lord has been teaching me about love this week. I'm not sure why yet. It's just yet another theme He's got going with me. My current notion is that I wouldn't feel so drained if I was able to be filled with God's love... I'm dragging my feet today. Doing this early because I don't anticipate having any time today to do it and I KNOW I need it.

So, Father, I am sure that everything You do is for a purpose. What's the purpose of this? Who are you preparing me to love? My preference is to love YOU more. Can You help me do that? I don't want to concentrate on loving anyone else but You. I'm not sure I can handle it. But if You can just get that one thing right in me, then maybe Your Spirit will do the rest? I desperately need You today to give me strength and joy. I need supernatural power! Lord, I confess my moodiness to You and whatever multiple sins it took to get me here. I know I overindulged myself yesterday with snacks - that's one. I also let my temper flare. And I was resentful of Michael not putting Edward to bed. And impatient that Edward didn't go to bed until late because of various delays... Lord, I know I'm not good enough on my own strength to 0bey You and love those You've given me. Please do it through me. Please take this empty vessel and fill it up to the top with You. I do love You, Lord. Change my heart, change my attitude: may I be like You.
